The 4^th International Conference of Insect Genomics (ICIG) and the 7^th International Symposium on Insect Physiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IPBMB) will be held on 2-6 July 2019 in Chongqing, China. The official language for the conference is English.

This joint conference is the continuation of ICIG (1st in Beijing and 2nd in Chongqing) and IPBMB (1st in Jinan, Shandong 2007, 2nd in Chengde, Hebei, 3rd in Shanghai, 4th in Nanjing, Jiangsu, and 5th in Guangzhou, Guangdong). To promote interdisciplinary communication among entomologist around the world, these two conferences have been organizing together in Hangzhou, Zhejiang 2017.

The theme of the joint conference in 2019 is “Insect Science for Better Application”. The scope of the joint conference covers but not limit to insect comparative genomics and evolution, insect physiology and biochemistry, insect development and genetics, insect immunity, and insect biotechnology. We will invite the prominent entomologists to give your plenary talks, including keynote talks or group talks, in the conference. We sincerely hope that you will reserve these dates to join in us.
